Job Details Description Wastequip's Toter Brand is hiring for an Extrusion/Compounding Operator for our Statesville, NC manufacturing location. This is a full time position with great benefits including but not limited to Health Insurance, 401K Plan, Paid Vacation/Sick time, and so much more. The Extrusion/Compounding Operator sets up, starts up and shuts down extrusion lines to safely produce quality resin at desired output rate. 2nd
Shift:
2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Mon - Fri.
Pay:
$22.45 + $1 shift differential. Responsibilities Adheres to compound schedule and current blend Sets up machine for production run Monitors equipment for any maintenance and safety issues Write and maintain accurate production reports Operates blender per schedule Confirms schedule and blend adherence Follow all Standard Operating Procedures Clean hoppers and pelletizer, gather materials, calculate formulas, and change screens as needed Monitor operation of machine for acceptable quality and standard production rates Conducts quality checks on produced resin Uses all required Personal Protective Equipment Write and maintain accurate production reports Maintains work area per safety and 5S standards Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned Qualifications Ability to read and write English Ability to climb ladders Must be able to work assigned shift Adhere to all company policies and safety rules High school diploma or equivalent mandatory Ability to obtain a Forklift license required Operate forklift when necessary Maintain production reports Competence with air guns and various machine controls Color vision required Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and receive direction from supervisor Must be able to distinguish quality defects Must be able to work under extreme heat conditions Must wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and all required
