Job Description
Blue River Coatings is seeking a Paint Batch Mixing Technician responsible for accurately mixing raw materials to produce paint according to established formulas. This role also includes supporting general production operations as needed. Key Responsibilities Accurately weigh and measure ingredients based on formulas and batch requirements Operate computerized, manual, and mechanical equipment for mixing, filling, unloading, labeling, packing, and storing products Test materials and finished products to ensure they meet specifications (e.g., viscosity, gravity, acidity) Complete required paperwork and enter production data into computer systems to maintain accurate records Clean, empty, and reset equipment after each batch (multiple times per day) Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures at all times Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Must be at least 18 years old Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Ability to read and write in English Basic computer skills Solid math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, fractions) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
