Extruder Operator

Operate production equipment, material handling equipment, and tools to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations. Job Responsibilities Operate roll rotating equipment Operate overhead cranes Operate forklifts Operate hand and power tools Use scales to weigh raw materials for blending Follow written mixing instructions Complete paperwork to document covering variables Read and understand standard prints and work instructions Learn upgraded or newly introduced production equipment Perform maintenance tasks as assigned Perform housekeeping, painting, and miscellaneous production support tasks as needed Complete additional assignments as directed by production supervision Job Requirements Experience operating production equipment preferred Forklift operation experience preferred Overhead crane operation experience preferred Experience using hand and power tools Ability to accurately weigh raw materials using scales Ability to follow written mixing instructions Ability to complete production paperwork Ability to read standard prints and work instructions Ability to perform assigned production tasks with or without supervision Preferred Skills Roll rotating equipment experience Raw material blending experience Manufacturing maintenance experience Housekeeping or facility support experience Painting experience in a manufacturing environment Experience learning upgraded or newly introduced equipment
