Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Machine Operator Mail Sorter opportunities in Dover

Responsibilities for Machine Operator Mail Sorter include but are not limited to:- Operate high-speed mail inserting machines to assemble and process mail materials.
- Load paper and other materials into machines throughout the shift.
- Monitor machine performance to ensure smooth operation and minimize jams or equipment issues.
- Set up and adjust equipment to accommodate various mail pieces and production requirements.
- Verify the accuracy and quality of inserted materials and completed mailings.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate more complex mechanical problems as needed.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance tasks to help ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Stand and work on the production floor for extended periods, including up to 8 hours during a shift.
- Participate in a structured training program and continuously learn machine operations and production processes.
- A comprehensive 4-week training program will be provided
- One-hour in-person panel interview.
- Production floor tour included as part of the interview experience. Candidates for Machine Operator Mail Sorter must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no college degree required.
- Prior experience operating machinery, high-speed inserters, or working in a manufacturing/production environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to learn machine operations through a structured training program.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Dependable with a consistent attendance record and strong work ethic.
- Ability to read and follow job orders, production schedules, and operational instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
