Batch Maker - 2nd Shift (Temp-to-Hire) | Manchester, NH Masis Staffing Solutions is hiring a Batch Maker for a well-established bakery manufacturing facility in Manchester, NH . Pay:

$20.50/hr What You'll Do As a Batch Maker, you'll be a key part of production—following formulas and step-by-step instructions to create batches that are ready for packaging in the Wet or Bakery department . You'll work with ingredients, equipment, and digital tools to help ensure every batch meets quality and food manufacturing standards. Training will be on 1st shift with a gradual transition to 2nd shift. Key Responsibilities Follow precise batch formulas and directions to produce high-quality product Use iPads and scanners to complete batch-making steps accurately Set up and operate equipment used in batch processing Load blenders with pre-measured ingredients (batches can total up to 4,000 lbs ; individual bags up to 50 lbs ) Produce multiple batches per day based on production needs Check raw materials for color, consistency, aroma, and texture ; report anything questionable to leadership Inspect packaging and equipment condition and report issues promptly Complete required paperwork/documentation clearly and correctly Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety rules (including PPE ) What We're Looking For Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions Basic math skills (measuring, counting, weights) Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing/walking for long periods Team-oriented with solid communication skills Experience operating material handling equipment (electric pallet jack/manual hand jack) is a plus Work Environment & Physical Requirements Manufacturing floor environment with machinery noise and varying temperatures Prolonged standing/walking on concrete floors Frequent bending, lifting, twisting, and climbing steps Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs Preferred Experience (Nice to Have) Material handling equipment certification Knowledge of food safety practices/regulations Masis Staffing is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
