Job Description

Are you looking to start or build your career in manufacturing at a large OEM as an Operator Trainee? Do you have strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy working with machinery, precision equipment, and hands on processes? Are you looking for an opportunity where you can develop your skills within an established aerospace and high technology manufacturing environment? If so, this opportunity may be the right next step for you. We are seeking an Operator Trainee to operate machinery and equipment used to produce precision components to exacting dimensional and quality standards. You will follow established procedures, process documentation, and engineering instructions while developing your ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment. As the Operator Trainee your responsibilities will include Operating manufacturing machines and equipment to produce a diversified range of precision components according to process and drawing requirements Replacing worn tooling, making machine adjustments, and supporting equipment setup as required Using precision measurement equipment to inspect components and verify dimensional and quality requirements Diagnosing operating difficulties, performing minor troubleshooting, and reporting unusual conditions to the assigned leader Maintaining a clean and safe work area while moving materials, maintaining required records, and following established safety procedures As the Operator Trainee you will bring A high school diploma or GED , with previous manufacturing experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in developing a career within a precision manufacturing environment The ability to read and interpret written and verbal instructions while consistently following established procedures Basic mathematical skills with an understanding of both standard and metric measurements The ability to recognize and report quality issues, maintain production standards, and work accurately with precision measurement equipment This Operator Trainee opportunity provides the chance to develop hands on manufacturing skills while working with precision equipment and components used across highly technical industries. You will gain experience in machine operation, inspection, troubleshooting, tooling, and production processes while working within a quality focused environment.
Pay:
$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 42.5 per week
