Job Description

Machine Operator Job Type:
Full-time Hourly Monday through Friday 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay:
$20.00 per hour

Paid Time Off Educational Reimbursement Responsibilities:
Follow quality rules for proper gowning, cleaning, or other tasks. Review and understand build sheets and work instructions. Machine set-up, inserting molds, loading raw materials, basic troubleshooting of alignment, heat, or other variables which may impact products. Produce sample parts and provide proposals on improvements to the quality of parts. Use various tools such as regrind, trimmer, clicker, and cutter to alter plastics to specifications. Safe machine operation. Picking and part inspection. Using tools such as a regrind, trimmer, Hudson clicker, or blank cutter. Label and pack orders per customer specification. Use manual pallet jack to bring completed pallets from packing area to shipping. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
Good work ethic and positive attitude. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to follow directions both verbally and written. Able to follow and understand quality management objectives and manufacturing procedures. Must be fluent in English for communicating and reading safety instructions, procedures, and customer orders and parts. Understanding of acceptable scrap rates. Must be able to stand long periods of time and walk continuously through assigned areas. Must be able to wear facial mask, and gowning equipment including booties, gowns/jackets, gloves, eye protection when applicable, hair net, and facial hair net if/when applicable. Must be able to lift up to 45lbs. Must have full range of motion, bending, reaching, and lifting. Janco, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
