Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various machinery to produce high-quality components and products. Your expertise in machine programming, tooling, and precision measurement will ensure efficient production processes and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with CNC equipment, and a commitment to quality control, contributing to the success of our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Operate a variety of machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and fabrication tools to produce parts according to specifications. Program and troubleshoot CNC equipment using CAD/CAM software and Fanuc controls to optimize machine performance. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications to ensure precise fabrication. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery; identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, including materials handling and packaging finished products. Maintain accurate documentation of production runs, machine settings, and quality checks. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, tooling setups, welding operations, and fabrication projects. Follow safety protocols diligently; operate forklifts when necessary for material movement within the factory. Requirements Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, or similar equipment. Proficiency in CNC programming using CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), or related software; familiarity with Fanuc controls is highly desirable. Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of tooling setup and fabrication processes. Ability to read blueprints accurately and apply GD&T principles for quality assurance. Experience with precision measurement instruments including calipers and micrometers. Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and factory operations; forklift certification is a plus. Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions and tolerances. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred; familiarity with assembly lines, materials handling, welding, or packaging is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software enhances versatility.
