Packaging Technician Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00/hour Job Overview We are seeking a Packaging Technician with pharmaceutical packaging experience to support manufacturing and packaging operations. In this hands-on role, you will operate packaging and filling equipment, complete production documentation, and help maintain quality standards throughout the packaging process. Responsibilities Operate vial filling machines, fabrication equipment, and secondary packaging machinery Clean, set up, and prepare manufacturing and packaging equipment for production Verify calibration stickers are current and equipment is ready for operation Complete batch records, logbooks, and production documentation accurately Palletize finished products and transport materials as needed Track and document equipment downtime accurately Communicate quality, component, and machine performance issues to production teams Assist with shift-to-shift communication regarding production status and equipment performance Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical packaging experience required Ability to stand for the majority of the workday Ability to lift and move up to 49 pounds Ability to work in a manufacturing gowning environment Basic reading, writing, verbal communication, and math skills Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing practices Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caldwell, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
