Shift/Pay:

Tuesday-Friday 5:45PM to 6:00AM @ $21.00 (Overnight) We are seeking dedicated Batch Production Laborer for a premier manufacturing company in Cherry Hill NJ . Job Description The batch maker will be responsible for mixing ingredients according to specific formulas, operating process equipment, monitoring machines, and performing various duties in the production of cosmetic materials, specifically nail polish. Responsibilities Read batch cards and accurately record all necessary information. Mix raw materials such as powders, liquids, and pigments to create specific formulas. Operate industrial mixing equipment proficiently. Take samples for quality testing. Monitor machines to ensure smooth operation. Skills Minimum of 2 years' experience in batch making, chemical operating, and machine operation. Ability to follow written instructions accurately. Fluent in English with effective verbal and written communication skills. Math aptitude for performing basic calculations and conversions. Proficiency in reading batch cards and recording information electronically using ACCESS and AX database systems. Basic knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in blending within a manufacturing environment. Forklift experience for transferring raw materials. Experience in monitoring and operating machinery in a production setting. Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds consistently. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position is based in Cherry Hill, offering easy commutability. The work involves exposure to noise, heat, cold, dust, dirt, moving mechanical equipment, and chemicals. Employees will be exposed to varying temperatures. Shifts are available on B shift (5:45pm-6:00am, Tuesday to Friday, 48 hours) with training on A shift (5:45am-6:00pm, Tuesday to Friday) for 1-2 weeks. Orientation is held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8am to 4pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cherry Hill, NJ.
