Temp-to-Perm Location:
Edison, NJ Schedule:
Rotating 12hr shifts, 7am-630pm (Dayshift)
Pay:
$20/hr Job Overview We are seeking a reliable Manufacturing Machine Operator to join our production team in Edison, NJ. This temp-to-perm role is perfect for candidates who are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality. The Manufacturing Machine Operator will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial machinery to ensure smooth production operations. Responsibilities Operate production machinery safely and efficiently as a Manufacturing Machine Operator . Perform mechanical adjustments, troubleshooting, and basic repairs on equipment. Monitor machines for quality, including checking dimensions, weights, and product specifications. Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned to maintain optimal machine performance. Supply production lines with raw materials and ensure continuous workflow. Document production output, losses, and maintenance activities accurately. Follow all company safety guidelines, work rules, and standard operating procedures. Attend required training sessions and team meetings to maintain compliance and performance standards. Support team goals in quality, safety, and productivity. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience as a Manufacturing Machine Operator or in a mechanical role preferred. Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience in operating industrial equipment. Ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs using hand tools. Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for the duration of the shift. Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and coordination. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Physical Demands Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and lifting. Exposure to manufacturing environments with noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required in certain areas.
