Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Packaging Machine Operator - II, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of packaging machinery within our production facility. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with advanced industrial equipment, contribute to high-quality food production, and uphold strict safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional products to our customers while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive environment. Duties Operate and monitor various packaging machines to ensure continuous, smooth production flow. Perform routine equipment troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to minimize downtime. Safely handle materials using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, adhering to all safety protocols. Conduct quality checks on packaged products, ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards. Maintain accurate documentation of production data, machine performance, and safety inspections. Assist in setup, changeovers, and cleaning of packaging machinery according to standard procedures. Follow all safety procedures diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to create a safe working environment. Requirements Proven experience operating packaging machines in a manufacturing or food production setting. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment effectively. Familiarity with material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification preferred. Basic math skills for measuring and adjusting machine settings accurately. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including GMP compliance and PPE use. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Willingness to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols consistently.
