Position Summary:
The Pharmaceutical Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of production equipment within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform visual inspections and routine mechanical checks of systems such as cartoners, sealers, carton sealing equipment, and conveyors. Act as primary technical support for production equipment during assigned shifts, resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime. Conduct line changeovers and equipment setups in accordance with production schedules and requirements. Maintain thorough maintenance logs, repair records, and equipment documentation. Support and execute regular preventive maintenance schedules. Ensure strict compliance with GMP, safety, quality, and all company SOP.
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated troubleshooting abilities. Familiar in interpreting mechanical drawings Technical school certification, associate degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent technical training preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in GMP, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, food, beverage, or ISO 13485-regulated environments is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with equipment repair and maintenance. Experience in automotive maintenance or as an industrial mechanic is a plus.
