Job Description

The Packaging Operator will inspect and package various shapes of metal preforms or stampings into various types of containers as required.

Essential Functions:

Inspect, weigh and package extremely small thin parts.

Perform visual inspections on parts prior to packing.

Reject nonconforming parts following established procedures.

Perform screening as required.

Package products according to customer requirements as shown on the picklist and apply labels as instructed to packages.

Accurately collect and input data into the computer.

Maintain cleanliness of work area and assigned equipment.

Follow all safety guidelines and wear proper PPE when in the manufacturing area.

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management.

Position Requirements:
  • Safety conscious with excellent verbal and written communication skills and good mathematical aptitude.
  • Ability to grasp and handle products ranging from extremely small to large.
  • Basic computer skills required. Must be able to make computer transactions into the ERP system.
  • Must be able to perform duties without external distractions, such as mobile phones and personal electronic devices.
  • Ability to use a microscope, magnifying lens, tweezers, and other hand tools as assigned.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and anything heavier with assistance or hand tools.
  • High School Diploma or GED About Coining
