  • PPE Notification:
    Contractor is responsible for wearing their own steel toed boots, other PPE based on the task being performed will be provided to the contractor on site
  • Summary:
  • The Roll Operator is responsible for handling/moving rolls from the paper stands to the production lines with the assistance of a walk-behind forklift.
They are responsible for the continuous flow of paper in production by tagging one roll into another. They will keep glue application and machine settings adjusted as needed. They are responsible for quality and reporting machines issues during the shift.
  • Essential Functions:
  • Lifting 5
  • 20 pounds occasionally.
Standing/walking demands up to 9 hours per day. Experienced in reading tape measure, calipers. Bending at the waist occasionally. Walk-behind forklift operation experience Ability to use tools to separate rolls when needed. Taking scrap waste to balers. Operating pneumatic gun(nail/stapple). Fill out quality and production sheets to be turn in every shift. Assist stacker with getting pallets caught up. Adding material to achieve required paper thickness. Keeping fast paced lines fed with paper. Wearing all proper PPE and follow all safety regulations/procedures. Other duties as assigned.

  • Education:
    High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience:
    Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
