Full Job Description Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) Machine Operator to join our packaging team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience operating VFFS equipment, specifically Hornet and Olsen machines, in a manufacturing or food production environment.
Requirements Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor Hornet and Olsen VFFS machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality packaging. Perform changeovers, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Conduct quality checks on seals, weights, and packaged products to meet specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work area, following GMP and safety protocols. Report any machine issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience operating Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) machines, with specific experience on Hornet and Olsen models required (experience with similar brands is a plus). Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [e.g., 50 lbs]. High school diploma or equivalent; forklift certification is an advantage. Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to safety.
