Forge Helper (1st and 3rd Shift) ($21.00-32.00/hr.) Job Description As a Forge Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting the furnace operations by assisting with the heating of furnaces, loading steel parts onto conveyor belts, cutting steel billets to specified lengths, and cooling machinery by spraying it down. You will also be responsible for inspecting parts using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures to ensure quality. Work Environment The work environment is a heavy manufacturing facility with temperature-controlled machining areas. The facility operates on two shifts: Training 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and work 3rd shift from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Flexibility to work either shift is required.
