Job Description
We are a staffing company looking for reliable and hardworking Machine Operators to join our team! If you have experience working with production machinery and enjoy hands-on work, we'd love to hear from you. Experience with high-speed machinery, calipers, micrometers, blueprints, or basic welding is a plus, but we are open to candidates who have related manufacturing experience and are willing to learn. This current position is not THC friendly. In this role, you'll operate and monitor machinery, perform basic measurements and quality checks, follow production and safety procedures, and work as part of a team to keep production running smoothly. We're looking for people who pay attention to detail, show up on time, follow safety rules, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. When looking for a machine operator we are looking the following: Proven experience as a machine operator Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.) Familiarity and basic welding knowledge Understanding of production procedures Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear) Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals Basic math and analytical skills Attention to detail Teamwork and communication skills Physical stamina and strength Record of good attendance and punctuality Essential Functions Physical Requires ability to walk, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend at waist, and climb ladders and/or equipment. Maximum unassisted lift - 25 lbs. Average lift less than 25 lbs. The Machine Operator position at all levels (1-3 & Process Tech) has been designated as a safety sensitive position based on the federal OSHA standards.
