Job Title:

Packaging Operator Job Description Engage in the packaging and crating of products to meet customer specifications. This position requires the ability to perform essential functions efficiently, with accommodations available for individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities Package and crate products according to verbal or written instructions. Operate scales and other machinery. Lift up to 35 lbs continuously and push carts without assistance. Stand, sit, walk, or bend as needed throughout the shift. Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors. Maintain a sterile environment, including changing gloves continuously. Adhere to safety protocols and remain focused at all times. Read work orders and daily production schedules accurately. Utilize basic math skills for accurate packaging. Fill out paperwork accurately and maintain a clean work environment. Work with minimal supervision and perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude for recurring tasks. Attention to detail and understanding of quality standards. Ability to monitor and use gauges, machines, and equipment. Proficiency in Excel and basic math skills. Effective communication skills. Ability to work independently and maintain focus. Additional Skills & Qualifications Organizational skills and effective communication. Ability to read, write, and understand work orders. Work Environment The position involves working in a moderate temperature environment with moderately loud noise levels, where hearing protection is required. Gloves must be worn and changed frequently. The role requires physical activity such as standing, bending, and lifting up to 35 pounds. Shifts are available on the frontend (Sunday-Wednesday) or backend (Wednesday-Saturday), with open availability preferred. The work may involve being near moving mechanical parts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henderson, NV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
