Job Description

Job Title:
Manufacturing Operator Astro Chemical is seeking a dependable, hands-on individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Operator. This position is responsible for staging and blending raw materials, operating mixing equipment, and supporting our high standards for safety, product quality and cleanliness. You'll play an important role in producing specialty products used in demanding applications across power generation, aerospace, and electrical industries. We are looking for someone who is safety-minded, able to follow instructions carefully, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized workspace. This is a full-time, on-site position with steady day shift hours. Responsibilities Pull and stage raw materials (liquids, powders, fillers, etc.) for production Operate various mixers and dispersers (low-speed, high-shear) according to batch instructions Accurately add materials in specified order and quantities Monitor batch run times and mixing parameters Package finished products into drums, pails, gallon cans or other containers Clean equipment thoroughly between batches Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times Safely operate a pallet jack, forklift and drum handling equipment (training provided) Follow batch tickets and documentation requirements per

quality standards Assist in re-inventorying excess raw materials and general warehouse tasks Training Provided Facility Orientation and Security Plan Manufacturing Methods and SOPs Forklift Operation Emergency Action Plan Harassment Prevention
