Machine Operator

Job Title:

Production Associate Job Description We are seeking entry-level Machine Operators to join our team in a blow molding plastics manufacturing company that specializes in producing plastic containers ranging from 0.5oz to 2.5 gallons across three production lines. Responsibilities Participate in a 15-minute meeting to start each shift. Rotate daily among assigned machines to maintain variety. Review work orders and execute tasks efficiently. Maintain consistent productivity throughout the shift. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures. Essential Skills Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Capable of standing for the entire duration of the shift. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and punctuality. Must demonstrate consistency in employment history. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous work experience is preferred, ideally 6 months at a former or current job. Re-hire eligibility determined on a case-by-case basis. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our facility boasts a 100,000 square foot climate-controlled manufacturing floor and warehouse space. Each shift aims for a target headcount of 12 machine operators. The workspace includes lockers and a lunchroom with refrigerators for all shifts. Typical work attire is comfortable, with t-shirts and jeans, and steel toe shoes are not required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cortland, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
