Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE
2nd shift Compression OperatorPAY RANGE
$17.50-$24 p/h depending on experienceSCHEDULE
3:15 PM - 11:45 PM (includes a 1-hour break).DEPARTMENT
ManufacturingREPORTS TO
Manufacturing ManagerPOSITION OBJECTIVE
To operate compression machines and perform in-process verifications to assure tablet quality.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate tablet press machines and troubleshoot operation
- Cross train as backup for Pharmacy and Blending
- Monitor tablet quality such as hardness, thickness, weight, friability
- Clean and maintain equipment and production rooms
- Follow all cGMP requirements as detailed in SOPs
- Document all activities in Master Production Records
- Communicate any deviations to Supervisor
- Provide additional support and assistance on tasks and projects as directed by management
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in compression operations preferred
- Ability to perform basic math, read, write.
- Must work as part of a team.
