Description:
Role:
Work with production leadership team to execute consistent recipes in a timely manner to fulfill retail and wholesale orders. Mixers must be versatile and willing to assist other departments based on the scheduled production demands and managers' discretion. Shift is Monday - Friday 6am-230pm Essential Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to): Set up mixing department to be productive and organized. Adhere to safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment. Gather and scale raw materials according to recipe and batch sizes. High diligence, thoroughness, accuracy when scaling. Produce with zero waste mentality. Produce consistent recipes without deviation. Assist depositing, molders & bakers to accomplish goals for department. Set up & breakdown of equipment. Learn to use/maintain equipment including but not limited to Hobart Mixer, Spiral mixer, Tonelli mixer and all depositor equipment. Consistent reporting on all work orders lot codes and yields Maintain food storage area, refrigerator, freezer, dry goods Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice. Adhere to all food safety and health standards set by Quality Assurance department. Follow all safety programs and promote an accident-free environment by building good daily habits.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs Perform job functions in a hot and/or cold environment Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to work through repetitive motions. May be required to squat, reach, bend, pull, push, or be otherwise physically engaged during their shift
General Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Follow scheduling procedures, punctual start to the shift, consistent attendance Mechanical aptitude: job training provided Basic math skills Ability to work as part of a diverse team & lead small teams as needed. Ability to read and write English and follow mixing instructions Good communication skills - oral and written Able to multitask and work with a sense of urgency Able to clearly and legibly complete all required paperwork
