Responsibilities:
(but are not limited to the following) Ensure all raw ingredients are approved, pre-staged, and prepared according to batch recipe and specifications. Communicate effectively with Supervisors and QA to ensure product quality and compliance. Accurately prepare and stage raw materials while preventing cross-contamination in accordance with cGMP procedures. Maintain controlled, organized, and clean weighing and preparation areas; match Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) to bulk pick lists. Follow FIFO policies when selecting and using materials. Add precise amounts of raw ingredients to batch tanks as directed; update inventory cards to reflect material usage. Document and verify all ingredients used in batch preparation. Prepare unused materials for return to the warehouse following SOPs. Operate, clean, maintain, and organize pharmacy rooms in compliance with departmental SOPs and cGMP standards. Coordinate with QA on room cleaning, raw material verification, reconciliation, product quality checks, and yield tracking on BMRs. Complete weighing and cleaning tasks efficiently while adhering to production schedules. Verify raw material lot numbers, expiration dates, and quantities; reconcile inventory and investigate discrepancies. Follow good documentation practices and accurately complete all required records. Senior Management Education and Qualification:
High school diploma or GED 1-3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or manufacturing environment preferred. Knowledge of c
GMP, FDA
regulations, and SOP compliance. Experience with raw material handling, weighing, and inventory management preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of cross-contamination prevention, personal hygiene, and cGMP procedures. Attention to detail and accuracy in weighing, measuring, and documentation. Ability to read, understand, and follow batch records and SOP instructions. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. Ability to follow all safety guidelines and use required PPE consistently.
