Set-Up Technician - Wire Coiling Nesco Resource is hiring a Set-Up Technician in Horseheads, NY. This role sets up and adjusts wire coiling machines to produce parts that meet drawings and customer specifications. Training is available for mechanically inclined candidates with relevant hands-on experience.

Pay:

$20 per hour

Schedule:

1st shift, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM; typically 40 hours per week with minimal overtime Position type: Temporary with the opportunity to transition to full-time employment What you'll do Set up and adjust wire coiling machines. Read drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Inspect first pieces and measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and other tools. Troubleshoot machine and process issues. Keep setup and production records and identify maintenance needs. What we're looking for Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools. Basic math and problem-solving skills. Experience in manufacturing, machine setup, maintenance, automotive repair, or a related field is preferred. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
