Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Coating Process Technician to join a specialized manufacturing operation focused on high-performance surface coatings and materials processing. This is a hands-on technical manufacturing position involving material mixing and blending, surface preparation, coating application, vacuum furnace operation, and precision inspection. Candidates with transferable experience in industrial coatings, heat treating, metal finishing, thermal processing, chemical processing, or other precision manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply. Schedule Monday - Friday | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Full-time, with additional hours as business needs require. Responsibilities Blend, mix, weigh, and properly store wet/dry powders, solids, and liquids used in coating processes. Prepare components for coating using appropriate masking and surface preparation techniques. Apply specialized surface coatings according to established specifications and procedures. Operate and monitor vacuum furnaces and related systems. Load and fixture components for processing. Perform in-process inspections and ensure components are properly prepared for coating, final inspection, and shipment. Monitor process requirements including viscosities, dew points, lead-up rates, and furnace instrumentation. Use precision measuring and inspection equipment, including micrometers, scales, and eddy current equipment . Assist with cleaning and preparation processes, including grit blasting and degreasing . Perform preventive maintenance and assist with equipment upkeep. Complete production travelers and other required documentation accurately. Follow established quality, manufacturing, and safety procedures. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment involving the blending/mixing of solids or liquids, coating application, masking, weighing, inspection, or similar processes. Experience with vacuum furnace operations preferred. Knowledge or experience with AMS2750, TUS/SAT, dew points, loading/fixturing, instrument surveys, viscosities, and preventive maintenance is highly desirable. Experience with precision measurement and inspection tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions and documented processes. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, fluid manufacturing environment. Experience in surface coatings, thermal processing, aerospace, energy, industrial manufacturing, or other precision manufacturing environments is a plus. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand and walk frequently throughout the shift and regularly handle components, materials, and equipment. Must be able to frequently lift or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.

From $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
