As a Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining precision machinery used to produce high-quality components. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure that products meet the rigorous standards required in the aviation industry.
What Youll Do
Operate light-duty bench and floor-type machine tools and equipment, including:
Small lathes
Power mills
Extruding machines
Drills and punch presses
Power brakes
Shears and saws
Set up machining equipment and make machine adjustments as needed.
Perform routine machine maintenance to support efficient operations.
Inspect completed work using gauges, jigs, fixtures, and measuring devices to ensure close tolerances are met.
Monitor production quality and verify compliance with quality standards and statistical process control procedures.
Operate numerically controlled equipment when applicable.
Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively regarding production and quality concerns.
Required Qualifications
1-2 years of experience operating manufacturing or production machinery.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and quality issues.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Basic computer skills for data entry, machine interfaces, and production documentation.
Ability to follow written instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Dependable attendance and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries.
Familiarity with precision measuring tools, gauges, jigs, and fixtures.
Experience with numerically controlled (NC/CNC) machinery.
Mechanical aptitude and machine troubleshooting experience.

Pay Details:
$20.00 to $21.00 per hour
