Second Weekend Shift Thursday

•Sunday 3:00 PM

•1:30 AM EST

Pay Rate:

$20.00

•$21.00 per hour

As a Machine Operator, youll play a vital role in the manufacturing process, operating precision equipment used to produce critical components for the aviation industry. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure products meet demanding aerospace standards, supporting safety, reliability, and innovation in flight.

What Youll Do

In this role, you will:

Operate light-duty bench and floor-type machine tools and manufacturing equipment

Work with machinery such as:

Small lathes

Power mills

Extruding machines

Drills and punch presses

Power brakes

Shears and saws

Set up machines for production runs and make operational adjustments as needed

Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting

Inspect completed work using gauges, jigs, fixtures, and precision measuring tools

Verify parts meet close-tolerance specifications and quality standards

Monitor numerically controlled equipment when applicable

Follow statistical process control and quality assurance procedures

Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment

Support team production goals while adhering to safety and quality requirements

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to operate manufacturing or machine shop equipment safely and effectively

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work

Ability to follow written instructions, specifications, and procedures

Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Ability to use measuring devices and inspection tools

Ability to work in a production environment and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience operating machine tools or manufacturing equipment

Experience working with CNC or numerically controlled machinery

Familiarity with precision manufacturing environments

Experience performing quality inspections using gauges, jigs, and fixtures

Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) or quality management processes

Aerospace or aviation manufacturing experience

Pay Details:

$20.00 to $21.00 per hour
