Overview Join our team as a Monument & Memorial Craftsman/Trainee and become a vital part of creating lasting tributes that honor memories and heritage. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop specialized skills in monument construction, restoration, and memorial craft. You'll work alongside skilled craftsmen dedicated to excellence. This role combines hands-on work with learning, empowering you to grow into a proficient craftsman committed to quality and detail. Responsibilities Hardworking and able to think on your feet. Reliable, shows up on time and willing to work overtime. Comfortable working outdoors in cemeteries along side colleagues and also independently. Assist in the fabrication and installation of monuments, memorials, and onsite stonework using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure precise craftsmanship. Perform machine and hand digging, concrete forming and pouring of monument foundations Support restoration projects by repairing or refurbishing existing monuments, such as re-sealing and leveling Operate heavy machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites. Collaborate with team members and foreman on site layout etc. Experience Prior experience in construction or masonry is required Driving larger trucks (CDL not required but highly adventageous) Driving with trailer attached to trucks Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, concrete forming is highly advantageous. Knowledge of construction techniques will support your growth in this role. Experience operating heavy equipment enhances your suitability for this position. Strong attention to detail is essential for success. Demonstrated commitment to safety practices on job sites is valued highly. From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
