This role is responsible for operating high-speed digital printing equipment, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on production role ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within the print industry. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain digital printing equipment (sheetfed and/or roll-fed) Set up jobs according to specifications (paper stock, color profiles, imposition, etc.) Monitor print quality and make real-time adjustments to ensure accuracy and consistency Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment Review job tickets and ensure all production requirements are met Maintain production schedules and meet daily output targets Coordinate with PrePress, Customer Service, and Finishing departments Ensure proper material handling and minimize waste Follow all company safety and operational procedures Qualifications Prior experience operating digital print equipment (e.g., Xerox, Canon, Ricoh, HP Indigo) preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability High attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Basic computer skills and familiarity with print workflows Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn and grow within the company Preferred Experience Commercial print production environment Knowledge of color management and print file setup Experience with workflow systems (e.g., PrintSmith, Fiery, or similar) Shift Details B-Shift (Second Shift)
