Watertown, NY Schedule:

Monday - Friday Pay $16.00+

DOE Duties and Responsibilities:

Learn proper procedures to produce a part from raw material and order of operations. Understands the theory of computer numerical controlled machinery, lathe, and mill operation Responsible for machine maintenance including general cleaning and adjustments Maintains and adjusts lathe tailstock as needed Cleans and replaces worn tools as necessary Inspects machined parts to print specifications using micrometers, calipers, and indicators Runs secondary operations in drill press area to finish parts Le4arns proper deburring procedures Informs supervisor or quality assurance personnel immediately of any defect in parts, equipment, or tools. Performs general housekeeping duties at workstations on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts Reasoning ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions Have basic computer skills Manufacturing engineering degree or degree from technical school, and one to two years related experience or training. Ability to stand for the shift and lift up to 50 pounds
