Position Summary Magellan Aerospace Processing, New York (West Babylon) has an exciting opportunity for a Plater Trainee. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of certified Chemical Processing Leads and experienced Platers while learning aerospace metal finishing processes, including cadmium plating, embrittlement relief bake, chromate conversion coating, and other chemical processing operations in accordance with route card instructions, internal procedures, and customer specifications. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals who are interested in developing a career in aerospace chemical processing. The selected candidate will receive on-the-job training and certification while safely working in a chemical processing environment using all required personal protective equipment and safety procedures. The salary range for this position is $21.00 to $24.00 per hour based on relevant experience and shift.First Shift:
6:30 AM- 3:00 PM Essential Responsibilities Assist certified Platers with electroplating (Cadmium) and other chemical processing operations.
