740 WHAT WE NEED The Processor role sets up equipment for processing and will batch raw ingredients in accordance with cook cards and written batch instructions. This role works across many departments and functions, and therefore, will gain a broad understanding of the BRF production processes. This opening is for our 3rd Shift 11:00pm

3rd Shift Differential = $1.50 per hour.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Sets up equipment for processing operations in accordance with product specifications and standard operating procedures. Batches raw ingredients into kettles and processing equipment in accordance with Cook Cards and written batch instructions. Verifies that all materials used are correct for the product being produced by checking Cook Cards. Handles ingredients in a manner to maintain Food Safety standards. Halts process and notifies QA and Supervision in the event of any observed foreign materials, out-of-specification product, process failures, or any Food Safety or Quality concerns. Supports the start-up and shutdown of processes. Checks product to ensure quality specifications are maintained using analytical equipment as designated by the Cook Cards. Observes work conditions and generates work orders for equipment or Process area repairs. Communicates ongoing equipment, material, or quality concerns to incoming teams. Monitors and documents critical control points, ingredient lot numbers, and real-time recording of events. Validates temperature recording charts for proper operation. Trains Assistant Processors in areas of validated expertise and assists with R&D test runs. Assists in the cleaning of kettles and batch systems, including pumps, utensils, and general area cleaning. Completes all required batch paperwork accurately. Follows proper Good Manufacturing Practices including wearing personal protective equipment. Adheres to all safety requirements.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
  • required . Minimum of 6 months previous work experience or equivalent education
  • required . Forklift License
  • preferred.
Math ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
