As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of turning machines to produce precision metal parts according to specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate or someone with limited experience in the field of turning to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Set up and operate turning machines such as lathes, grinders, and mills
• Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machine settings and production methods
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality standards are met
• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to inspect finished parts
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance tasks when necessary
• Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification in machining or related field
• Basic understanding of turning principles and techniques
• Familiarity with operating CNC machines is a plus
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools accurately
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Good problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to learn new skills
