Bag Machine Operator

We're hiring for a manufacturing facility in Ashland, Ohio. In this role you'll operate and maintain bag machines used for liquid packaging in a fast-paced production environment. You'll focus on safety, quality, and productivity while developing your skills in machine operations and quality testing.

Shift/Pay:

2nd Shift 2:45pm-11pm

M-F Pay:

$22.25/hr

Training Schedule:

All employees will complete training on

FIRST SHIFT

(7am- 3pm) for the first 7-8 weeks. Expected overtime once trained.

Responsibilities:

Optimize scrap, efficiency, and product quality. Set up and run bag machines as scheduled. Participate in machine maintenance and troubleshooting training. Supply raw materials, pack products, and load machines. Ensure quality standards are met and report defects. Cover other production roles as needed. Use hoists to load rolls onto machines. Assist with printing and labeling. Perform tape splicing at packing station. Manage material workflow from the warehouse. Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma. Preferably 1 year in machine operation. Read measuring tapes and specifications, strong mechanical aptitude.
