Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automatic Screw Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and set up automatic screw machines to produce precision screw components, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications. Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation for excellence in metal fabrication and machining. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor automatic screw machines to produce high-quality screw products efficiently. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math to ensure accurate machine setup and part production. Perform routine machine maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance. Conduct precision measurements using measuring instruments to verify parts meet quality standards. Follow safety protocols diligently during machine operation and handling of materials. Document production data, quality inspections, and machine maintenance activities accurately. Collaborate with team members to improve machining processes and ensure continuous workflow. Requirements Proven experience operating automatic screw machines or similar machining equipment. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Skilled in the use of measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality control. Strong understanding of safety standards in manufacturing environments and adherence to safety protocols. Ability to perform shop math accurately for machining calculations. Mechanical aptitude combined with hands-on experience in machine operation and setup.
