3009165533-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Cargill is seeking a Packaging Operator to join our Manufacturing & Production team in Food & Beverage Operations. In this on-site role, you will operate and monitor packaging lines, perform quality and food safety checks, and complete accurate production records. You'll follow strict safety, GMP, and sanitation standards while supporting changeovers, basic troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. At Cargill, you'll work in a collaborative, inclusive environment and help advance global food security and sustainable practices. Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and adjust automated and manual packaging equipment for food and beverage products Perform quality checks to ensure packaged products meet Cargill and regulatory standards Follow all safety, food safety, and sanitation procedures, including GMPs and HACCP guidelines Complete production, downtime, and inspection records accurately and on time Assist with equipment changeovers, basic troubleshooting, and minor maintenance Stage, label, and palletize finished goods for storage and shipment Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and production teams to resolve issues and improve line performance Participate in continuous improvement and 5 S initiatives on the production floor Report hazards, near misses, and non-conformances promptly Support training of new team members on packaging processes and safety practices Required Skills Packaging line operation Mechanical troubleshooting Food safety and GMP compliance HACCP awareness Equipment changeover and setup Basic machine maintenance Quality control and inspection Forklift or pallet jack operation Data entry and production reporting Lockout/Tagout and safety procedures
