Full-time Department:
Manufacturing Position Title:
Mixer Purpose:
Mix product accurately and in sufficient quantity to supply to the press room product which will produce quality parts.
Essential functions:
1. Able to read and interpret mixing formulations. 2. Able to lift 50 lb. bags and boxes for extended periods of time. 3. Able to accurately measure and dispense liquid chemicals. 4. Able to operate a forklift safely and move material throughout the plant. 5. Able to work independently. 6. Build constructive relationships by taking intiative to make things better. 7. Perform other related duties as assigned. Mental /
Visual Requirement:
Continuous mental and visual requirements when operating lift truck. Lift Truck License required. Self-directed. Must know press room production requirements. Ability to communicate to employees and Supervisor. Ability to understand and maintain proper inventory rotation using the first-in/first-out inventory method.
Physical Demands:
Standing/walking most of the shift. Heavy physical labor required to lift 50 lb. bags and boxes for extended periods of time. Ability to use and maintain equipment. Ability to climb onto and off of mixer platform numerous times during shift. Must be able to pass Pulmonary Function Test for respirator use. Education /
Experience:
Should have a high school diploma or GED.
