Job Description

Wire Forming Machine Operator PAY:

$19

  • $21 per hour
  • 1.5x pay for Overtime available!!
  • LOCATION Cleveland, Ohio
  • West side
SHIFT:

day shift! standard hours are 7:30a

  • 4p •some overtime may be required on 2nd shift during peak season•Position Summary The Machine Operator role for the Wire Forming Mill requires the ability to prepare, monitor, operate and clean the equipment that is used to make wire and electrodes.

This position performs tasks associated with the preparation, processing, quality sampling, and safe handling of product. Essential Functions

  • Perform tasks that are required by Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
  • Operates wire forming and wire drawing equipment with multiple blocks according to product specific operating parameters.
  • Must be familiar with calipers and detailed measurement.
  • Ability to adjust without supervision cassettes and dies to specified measurements.
  • Notifies direct supervisor of any discrepancies or abnormalities during the process.
  • Maintain proper operating procedures to ensure the product meets quality standards.
  • Documents operating procedures and manufacturing results to have accurate records to ensure quality products.
  • Disassembles, cleans, and reassembles equipment.
  • Ensure all containers are properly labeled and stored properly when not in use.
  • Consistently applies 5S practices throughout the plant.
  • Ensures all safety and environmental policies and procedures are consistently demonstrated.
Qualifications:

1. Must Possess a minimum of a High School Diploma, Vocational degree or trade school is perferred 2. Must possess a minimum of 1 year of prior manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or laboring experience 3. Must be capable of lifting up to 55 pounds repetitively 4. Must possess a general mechanical aptitude 5. Must have reliable transportation 6. Prior tow motor or forklift experience is perferred 7. Experience reading blueprints is perferred 8. Prior machine operation experience is preferred

$19.00
