Responsibilities Include:

Properly set-up and run CNC controlled fiber laser. Perform all maintenance procedures required to keep machine in top operating condition and to meet standards established by manufacturer of laser machine. Operation of overhead crane following all safety procedures applied to crane operations. Inspect parts using master, drawing or process sheet to assure they meet quality standard. Adhere to all company safety requirements. Follow proper packaging, storage, and handling instructions for completed parts. Reposition parts with hand lift into or out of work area as needed. Properly complete all paperwork such as timecards, production cards, part tags, scrap reports, work order sheets, etc. Keep work area clean and orderly. Report all quality or safety problems to supervisor or coordinator. Plan and schedule ensuing jobs efficiently and expediently. Contribute continuous improvement ideas for work center to improve efficiency, safety, throughout or quality. Requirements:

Able to read and understand work documents including part drawings. Able to do basic math such as addition, subtraction, and division. Able to read basic measuring tools as required by job. Physically able to meet essential job functions. Able to follow directions, plan ahead, and work well with others. Good understanding of CNC mechanical machine controls. Able to write legibly and communicate effectively. Maintain good attendance record and be available for overtime when requested.
