Plasma Table Operator Location:

Columbus, OH Pay Rate:

$23.00 - $26.00/hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Crown Staffing is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join a metal fabrication team as a Plasma Table Operator in Columbus, OH. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to grow into advanced machine operation and fabrication skills. This position starts with material handling and shop support duties , with the opportunity to learn and advance into operating plasma cutting and metal forming equipment. Responsibilities Load and unload materials onto plasma tables, shears, and press brakes Clean, prep, and organize metal materials for processing Assist with setup, operation, and monitoring of plasma cutting machines Operate industrial shear and press brake to cut and bend materials to specifications Read and interpret blueprints and work orders Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality Perform basic equipment maintenance such as torch head changes Inspect finished products for quality standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment Requirements Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to lift and carry 30-60 lbs regularly (team lifting for heavier items) Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16" Basic math skills and strong attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment Manufacturing or fabrication experience is a plus This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in metal fabrication and machine operation .
