Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial. Experience Requirements Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment.
Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation.
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation.
Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards.
Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance. Job Duties Performs various duties related to the safe, efficient manufacturing of world-class quality parts.
Assists press operator in producing quality products.
Moves materials as part of the manufacturing team of associates.
Assists in checking parts to tolerance.
Follows established procedures for safe operation and limiting downtime on presses for increased production.
Communicates effectively with managers and other team associates. Preferred Qualifications Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Machine Operator. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
