The successful candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment. This position monitors equipment performance, performs quality checks, makes routine machine adjustments, clears minor jams, and assists with troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency. This role is a full-time on-site role on the first shift, 6:30am-3pm at our Fairfield, OH location, occasional Saturday as needed. We pay weekly. If you're up for the challenge, we'd love to hear from you! Qualifications Ability to read, write, and understand English. Basic math skills. Strong attention to detail. Mechanical or technical aptitude. Previous experience of troubleshooting or making basic machine adjustments. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and procedures. Manufacturing or machine operation experience. Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to the success of the team. Responsibilities Safely operate manufacturing equipment according to established standard operating procedures. Set up and monitor machines to ensure proper operation and consistent production. Load materials and components into equipment as required. Respond proactively and appropriately to changes in machine performance. Make routine machine adjustments within established operating procedures. Identify and clear minor machine jams and operating issues. Communicate with the appropriate personnel about equipment problems or conditions requiring maintenance. Work to maintain production efficiency and minimize unnecessary downtime. Follow production schedules, work orders, and customer specifications. Meet established production and efficiency expectations. Inspect products for leaks, alignment, artwork, and other defects. Perform required quality checks throughout the production process. Make safety the highest priority and follow all company safety policies and procedures. Properly wear required PPE in designated areas. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Report unsafe conditions, equipment problems, or potential hazards immediately. Follow proper procedures for handling equipment, materials, and products. Work effectively with other Operators, Packers, Maintenance, Leads, Supervisors, and other departments. Remain flexible and willing to assist in other areas when business needs require. Participate in cross-training and learn additional equipment and processes. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to perform repetitive motions. Ability to lift and move boxes and materials weighing up to 40-50 lbs. Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and move throughout the manufacturing environment. Ability to safely use a ladder and work at heights when required for assigned duties. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
