Starting up to $19.25/hr

Job Summary:

The Tape Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment used in the manufacturing process. This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality, meeting production goals, and supporting safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a production environment both independently and as part of a team. Previous machine operation, manufacturing, or industrial experience is preferred. Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently Learn and follow work instructions, procedures, and production specifications Perform machine startup, shutdown, and basic troubleshooting Load and manage production materials including creels and rewind stations Conduct quality inspections to ensure product standards are met Utilize HMI controls and ERP systems for production tracking and data entry Maintain production goals and efficiency standards Follow Lock Out / Tag Out and all company safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles Communicate effectively with production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process improvements Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or industrial experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability preferred Ability to read work instructions and basic production specifications Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong attendance, communication, and teamwork skills Self-motivated with strong attention to detail High School Diploma or GED preferred
