The Finishing Operations team is responsible for producing high-quality finished products by operating a variety of bindery and lettershop equipment while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. Responsibilities Set up and operate finishing equipment according to job specifications. Read and interpret job tickets to ensure accurate production.
Operate equipment used for:
Cutting Folding Die cutting Saddle stitching Drilling Padding Scoring Lettershop and inserting operations Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain production goals while minimizing waste. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other production-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous manufacturing, machine operator, bindery, or production experience preferred. Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn production equipment. Ability to read and follow written work instructions and job tickets. Basic math skills, including decimals and measurements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
