6 weeks /opportunity for direct hire upon completion of assignment 12-hour shift (6 am
  • 6 pm) Pitman schedule (or 2-3-2) (Includes every other weekend)
Preferred Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Required Qualifications:
Ability to lift 35-50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods Basic math, measurement, and counting skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and quality control Prior experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment is desired, but not required

Position Summary:
The Packaging Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently packaging finished goods in accordance with production standards, quality requirements, and safety guidelines. This role ensures all products are properly labeled, prepared for shipment, and meet the company's performance and quality expectations. The Packaging Operator plays an essential role in maintaining workflow, minimizing downtime, and supporting overall manufacturing output.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Packaging Operations
  • Operate packaging machinery and equipment according to established procedures Inspect, weigh, count, and package finished products to ensure accuracy and quality Apply labels, barcodes, and required documentation to finished goods Assemble boxes, cartons, pallets, and other packaging materials as needed Perform manual packaging tasks when required (bagging, sealing, shrink-wrapping, etc.
) Quality & Compliance
  • Perform and document quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards. Escalate quality issues or equipment concerns to supervision immediately Document production counts, batch numbers, and inspection results accurately Equipment & Safety
  • Understand, demonstrate, and adhere to workplace and process safety, PPE requirements, including, but not limited to, hazardous materials, equipment, and other general workplace requirements Ensure packaging machinery is set up correctly and operating safely Perform basic cleaning, adjustments, and preventive maintenance tasks Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3
R Standards:
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain; Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container Follow all safety rules, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements Material Handling
  • Stage raw materials, packaging supplies, labels, and finished goods at required workstations Move packaged product to designated storage or shipping areas using pallet jacks or other approved equipment Monitor material levels and notify team leads when supplies need replenishing Work Environment
  • Manufacturing floor environment; exposure to machinery, noise, and moving equipment Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions May require overtime, weekend, and shift work depending on production needs #LHB
