Saddle Stitcher Pocket Filler / Bindery Assistant Truax Printing is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our bindery team as a part time Saddle Stitcher Pocket Filler. This position is responsible for keeping the saddle stitcher running efficiently by accurately filling the pockets with printed signatures and monitoring the quality of materials as they feed through the machine. Responsibilities Load and continuously fill pockets on a saddle stitcher with printed signatures Monitor the machine and finished pieces for proper feeding, alignment, and quality Keep pockets stocked to prevent production interruptions Identify and remove misfeeds, damaged pieces, or incorrect signatures Stack and organize finished printed materials Assist with other bindery and finishing tasks as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and production instructions Qualifications Reliable and dependable attendance Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift and move paper and finished product Strong attention to detail Ability to work at a steady pace in a production environment Previous printing, bindery, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person Ability to work well as part of a team If you are dependable, hardworking, and enjoy hands-on production work, we'd love to hear from you!
