Compounder Position Openings!! Pay up up $22/hr for Permanent Opportunities!
Position Overview:
Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays and potentially Saturdays (depending on seasonal needs).
Key Responsibilities:
Weighing and Mixing:
Weigh raw materials according to batch cards and compound solutions as per batch card and process tech instructions.
Cleaning & Sanitizing:
Clean and sanitize various equipment, batch tanks, and holding tanks. Assist Fill & Pack Operators with tank and hopper cleaning.
Material Handling:
Transfer finished solutions to Fill & Pack areas. Inventory counts and record raw material usage. Log raw materials in the system.
Compounder Duties:
Assist with ensuring SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are followed, and production adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Safety and PPE:
Maintain a safe and clean workspace, wearing the appropriate PPE (e.g., hair nets, safety glasses) and following safety protocols for handling chemicals.
Additional Responsibilities:
Organizational Tasks:
Assist with keeping the production area orderly and ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
Batch & Holding Tanks:
Assist in maintaining cleanliness of mixing and production equipment according to quality policies outlined in SOPs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Material Handling:
Experience with tow motors and handling materials, including lifting up to 60 lbs for extended periods (20-40 minutes) and rolling heavy drums (200-600 lbs) on and off pallets.
Basic Computer Skills:
Comfortable with email, Excel, and Word for inventory and material logging.
Communication & Organizational Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively and stay organized while working both independently and as part of a team.
Mathematics:
Basic math skills, including the ability to convert pounds to kilograms.
Safety Awareness:
Understanding the importance of maintaining a clean and safe work area, and following GMP.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly and handle heavy drums (200-600 lbs). Stand, move, and work for long periods in a physically demanding environment.
