Job Description

Machine Operator•1st Shift
NEW PAY RATES!
START AT $21/HOUR! 1st Shift•6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday•Friday Some Saturday overtime required Primary duties: Mantain a clean and safe work area Responsible for Machine Operation to produce finished goods Operate in their responsibility to maintain efficiency and quality. Perform a variety of manufacturing tasks using production equipment to ensure steady workflow. Perform equipment adjustments Mounting of cutting dies, print plates, and any other tooling required for each job. Perform quality checks prior to each job assigned and during the production run. Maintain documented checklist for quality checks, ink monitoring, and clean up. Keep machine setup and run times at maximum efficiency. Help troubleshoot any quality or machine issues as they occur. Ensure that the equipment is properly maintained, notifying Maintenance and Supervisors of any issues that occur. Perform daily and detailed weekly cleanup in accordance with the cleanup checklist. Identify, and report any damaged tooling that needs repair. Identify product safety concerns and report them to your supervisor. Maintain proper production reporting. Other duties as determined by Plant Superintendent, Shift Supervisor or Shift Lead.
Job Requirements:
Standing for long periods of time. Ability to read a tape measure. Bending, lifting, twisting on a continuous basis. Ability to lift 70 lbs. Ability to clearly communicate with material handlers, other employees and managers as needed. Attention to detail and high level of numerical accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience assisting on multi color flexographic press is preferred. Able to troubleshoot and problem solve. Basic Computer skills preferred Ability to clearly differentiate colors.
