Weld Cell Machine Operator, 2nd
Shift Reports To:
Production Supervisor Pay Rate:
Starting at $20.00/hr 1st
Shift:
6:00am
  • 2:30pm (Monday
  • Friday) Overtime on weekends as needed 2nd shift: 2:30pm
  • 1:00am (Monday
  • Thursday) 2:30
  • 10:30p (Friday).
Overtime on weekends as needed
General Function:
Operating robotic welders for the assembly of oil pans, including leak testing, to make a quality product.
Job Duties:
Safely operate robotic welders and resistance welders by manually placing an oil pan in/on the welder. Manually assembling pieces to the oil pans Safely operate leak tester by manually placing the oil pan on the die, remove, inspect, and pack part(s) as required per customer instructions. Completing tags, check-sheets and reports timely and accurately Responsible for keeping the area clean and participating in plant clean-up Work in a team environment, work with other employees Follow company policies, company safety policies and practice safe work habits Other duties as assigned Working Conditions & Physical Component(s) The manufacturing environment includes tow motors moving throughout the plant, non-air conditioning building, hearing protection, steel toe boots, glove, armguards, and safety glasses required. Standing 7.5 hours. Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40 pounds continuously. Some bending and walking within weld cells. Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of experience with robotic welders Other Requirements Capable of taking directives and following instructions Capable of working in a fast pace environment Capable of completing the proper paperwork Excellent attendance, capable of working overtime to include Saturday and, when necessary, Sunday Communicate with coworkers and team leader Safety and quality-oriented #iceindustries #iceind
